Tyler H. Bridgers

I’ve known I wanted to be a lawyer since I was a kid. I started working at my uncle’s law firm in high school, and I’ve never looked back. I am now proud to be a trial lawyer representing individuals and their family members in personal injury and wrongful death cases. I have been practicing law since 2010, and I have exclusively represented injured victims in that time. I have tried dozens of cases all across Georgia and recovered tens of millions of dollars on behalf of my clients, including over $75 million in verdicts and settlements since 2020.

I joined Chris Simon in 2014 and became a name partner at Simon Bridgers Spires in 2022. We handle all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including automobile wrecks, tractor-trailer collisions, dog bite incidents, and premises liability claims. I split my time between our firm’s Atlanta & Athens offices.

Our firm’s philosophy is simple: top-notch lawyering and white-glove customer service. I am committed to treating my clients like family and ensuring that they receive the best representation available during some of the most challenging times of their lives. The civil justice system and the insurance claims process can be intimidating, but I seek to educate my clients on what to expect at every step along the way. Over the course of my career handling many hundreds of injury cases, I have seen nearly every type of claim imaginable- experience that I use to my clients’ benefit from day one.

I am a champion member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and am a graduate of the association’s LEAD Program and serve on the Civil Justice PAC Board. I have also been selected as a Rising Star and Super Lawyer many years in a row.

I was born in Atlanta and raised in Gwinnett County, where I graduated as valedictorian from Parkview High School. I moved to Nashville, TN to attend college at Vanderbilt University. I graduated in three years before coming back home to Georgia for law school at Emory University.

My wife, Lauren, and I have been married for twelve years. We live in Oconee County with our two-year-old son. We are active members of Athens Church, and I am also a member of the Rotary Club of Athens. On the weekends, you can usually find me at Taqueria del Sol, on the golf course, or cheering for the Dawgs (when they’re not playing Vandy, of course- Go Dores!).
